Responsive website for MSVA (Mid Sussex Voluntary Action), an independent charity established in October 2014 and working across Mid Sussex.

In 2012, Mid Sussex South Council for Voluntary Service (MSSCVS) was an independent charity operating from Burgess Hill. They contacted us for a website, which we built in Perch that year. A few years later, a new charity was created from the merging of three Councils for Voluntary Service in West Sussex. We were asked to work with the new team at HAMSVA, to create a new website for the merged councils.

During 2015, we created the first version of the new website with Kingfisher Design & Print – again in Perch – to sit alongside the existing MSSCVS website and those of the other merged councils. We then worked with the new charity – Horsham and Mid Sussex Voluntary Action (HAMSVA) – to fulfil their plans for a larger website covering the new enlarged area.

In February 2017, the new website was completed and went live. The site was developed with Perch Runway (Perch’s ‘bigger brother’) to provide the best flexibility and power of content management for the staff at HAMSVA, who are maintaining the content. During 2017, a new Volunteering section was added to the site. The whole site rebranded as MSVA (Mid Sussex Voluntary Action) in April 2018.

Special thanks to the team at Perch for their generous pricing on Perch Runway for charities – providing it at the cost of a normal Perch licence. And the staff at HAMSVA love how easy Perch is to use.
